About Story For Them

Story For Them turns a short brief about your child into a twenty-four-page illustrated story, narrated in a voice you choose. Each book is rendered fresh: same kid, different adventure every time. You can keep it as a PDF, listen as an audiobook, or have a hardcover printed and shipped.

The site is built and run by Samy, a solo developer based in France. There's no investor, no team — just one person who wanted his nieces and nephews to see themselves as the heroes of their bedtime stories, and who couldn't find anything quite right off the shelf.

The product is in friends-and-family testing right now. If you're reading this, you're probably one of the early testers; thank you. Feedback is the most useful thing you can send.

The pipeline uses a few tools well. A language model writes the story from the brief. An image model illustrates each page, keeping the same character across all twenty-four pages. A voice model (you can record your own, or pick a preset) narrates it. A print partner handles the hardcover when you ask for one. Stripe handles payment. Nothing about your child's data is used to train external models.
